Youth In Need By Mrs Rascal

In June Our Brothers and Sisters of The Invaders Motorcycle Club held an event to help raise money for the Youth in Need Organization. Youth in Need is a nonprofit child and family services agency, headquartered in St. Charles, Mo. Through a variety of crisis prevention and intervention programs, Youth In Need is dedicated to building positive futures for the community’s most vulnerable children, teens and families.
Each year, Youth In Need serves more than 12,000 children, teens and families with residential homes, foster care case management, homeless outreach, counseling and support groups, education and infant, child and family development at more than 35 sites, spanning 100-miles, in six counties in eastern Missouri.
Youth In Need was founded by community volunteers, who opened the organization’s Emergency Shelter in 1974. It is through the generous support of community volunteers, business leaders and donors that Youth In Need has been able to continue its mission of believing in the power of potential.


The day was not as hot as 2011 which was a blessing to all that attended the event. Unleashed Spirits Ministry was there with our tent in place and ready to help any way we could. The Invaders put us to work. Devin and I made our rounds photographing the days events for Thunder Roads magazine that Rascal would later write an article in about the Charity Event.
 The days events had food, music and field events for all to enjoy. Field events included a first gear bike race, beer roll, weinie bite, even a full contact figure 8 mini bike race

 that had all belly laughing. The event also brought together many clubs such as El Foresteros M/C, Gremlins M/C, Saddle Tramps M/C, Statesmen M/C, Road Saints M/C, Vietnam Vets M/C, Weasels M/C and Tribe of Judah M/M. Music was provided by Burning Sky, Guitars On Fire, Happy Endings, Whiskey Business, Headlined by Devon Allman & Honey Tribe.

The Bike show gave out trophies and there was a bike wash too.

 It was a great day for many reasons, the blessing of seeing so many clubs come together to raise money for such a great cause. The Invaders were able to raise and present a check to the Youth in Need organization.
